Local Participation

Local participation, local capability.

Hunter Horizon Park is committed to engaging local businesses and service providers throughout the project's development. This page provides information about how local providers can participate.

Overview

Built on Hunter capability.

The Hunter Region is home to a deep pool of skilled contractors, tradespeople, and service providers across the full spectrum of infrastructure development and operations. As Hunter Horizon Park progresses through planning, construction, and operational phases, opportunities will emerge for local businesses to contribute to the precinct's success.

Registering your expression of interest helps us understand the local capability and plan our engagement with the Hunter Region business community. Updates on procurement opportunities will be communicated directly to registered providers and published on this website.

Local supplier example

Daracrete · Heatherbrae batch plant

As an example of how the project will prioritise local procurement, EDC plans to engage Daracrete — a Hunter Region concrete supplier with an existing batch plant at Heatherbrae — for concrete supply across the precinct's construction phases.
