Unlike traditional data centres, Hunter Horizon Park has been designed around an integrated energy philosophy.
On-site energy sources include a 100MW AC solar photovoltaic facility and a 450MW / 3,600MWh battery energy storage system. The balance of the precinct's renewable energy requirements will be met through Power Purchase Agreements with accredited renewable energy projects located across Australia — ensuring the grid is not negatively impacted by the development.
